By ethnicity, I'm Jamaican and Jamaican culture is all I've ever known. From reggae and dancehall to the people and the community to the food. Well, the food's the best part really. So, a restaurant I'd recommend to visitors is "Golden Krust". It's a surprise to me when I found out that many non-Caribbeans have no idea what that is because it's what I grew up on. My neighborhood is predominately black and many of us are Caribbean. You can find a Jamaican restaurant at every corner. Because if there's anything people can come together on, it's food. A couple blocks from my house lies the hidden gem "Golden Krust", basically Jamaican dishes in a nutshell. This dining spot is so worthwhile because it captures a lot of my own cultural foods, and it never disappoints your tastebuds. The spices and flavoring are nothing but up to par.
